LOS ANGELES – Tomorrow night, before the Warriors take on the not-so-good Cleveland Cavaliers (19-59) – who, a year ago, faced the Warriors in the Finals – there will be a rapturous applause. That applause will naturally be for Nick Young, more hilariously known as “Swaggy P.”
Young played just a single season with the Warriors, but like he’s done wherever he’s gone, he became a fan favorite for his entertaining personality and clutch shot-making ability. He’s like a cult classic movie. Everywhere he goes, someone has a story or a favorite moment about him.
For Steve Kerr, that moment was a massively important 3-pointer from Young that came on the road in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals against the Houston Rockets.
“Biggest moment of the season,” Kerr said. “It didn’t surprise me at all that Nick knocked down that shot because Nick doesn’t care.”
Kerr said he’s excited to see Young and would be far from surprised to see him pull anything funny.

“I’m fired up to see Nick,” Kerr said. “I just mentioned his name and like three people started laughing and smiling.”
