Tolbert’s Beer Review: Central Coast 21st Anniversary Triple IPA

For the second week in a row we’re on the road to film Tolbet’s Beer Review. We had so much fun last time at the Public House last time we decided to come back for another round.

In this beer review Mr. T cracks open a Central Coast’s 21st Anniversary, a Triple IPA that’ll smack you in the face at 11 percent ABV. Central Coast has been around for – you’ll never guess – 21 years now after opening in San Luis Obispo in 1998. From the brewer:

Recognized as one of the premier brewing facilities on California’s Central Coast, CCB is known for its variety of hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind ales and lagers. Whether at the bar enjoying a fresh beer or out on the patio, Central Coast Brewing is your neighborhood brewery.

Tolbet knew he would like the beer from the jump because the folks at Central Coast used two of his favorite hop varietals, citra and mosiac. He also liked the name, which had him on a tangent that led us to a story about a gay bar with a faulty front door.

Cheers!
