Anyone know why Twitter suspended the @HoustonRockets? pic.twitter.com/NqYatAAs1G

It’s not been a great few weeks for the Houston Rockets. They were ousted from the playoffs by the Golden State Warriors for the fourth time in five years, this time in the Western Conference Semifinals. Then the team fired its defensive coordinator, Jeff Bzdelik. Now, the team’s official Twitter account has been suspended.
The team’s account has been down since at least noon today, and the cause was apparently due to a copyright issue. According to Matt Young of the Houston Chronicle, the Rockets weren’t alone, with some college athletic programs (Iowa State football, Iowa football and gymnastics, Rutgers football and Auburn football) also having their accounts suspended, apparently due to similar copyright issues with music.
The Rockets put out a statement saying, “Our Twitter account has been temporarily suspended due to a few prior social media posts with copyrighted music. We are working to correct the issue now.”
