Andre Iguodala addresses health after limping at end of Game 1

Towards the end of what would prove to be a 118-109 Game 1 NBA Finals loss to the Toronto Raptors, Andre Iguodala came up limping. After landing on a layup, he looked to tweak something in his left leg, clapping his hands together in frustration before he was eventually substituted with just over a minute remaining in a game that was already decided in the Raptors’ favor.

After the game, Iguodala was asked about the leg, which has bothered him at times this season, and which saw him miss Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals. But according to Iguodala and Steve Kerr, the apparent knock is not a cause for concern. He seemed more frustrated with the Warriors’ defense, allowing the Raptors to thrive in transition.

“I’ll be alright, just bumps and bruises of the game,” Iguodala said. “I’ll be fine… They did a good job of forcing turnovers, and transition game was really big for them, so, yeah, that a key thing. We can count on a few guys to hit some open looks early, not fully rotating, so we have an opportunity to look at some tape and fix some things.”

Kerr echoed that sentiment, saying he believed Iguodala was alright:
