Andre Iguodala hits game-icing 3-pointer to secure Game 2 win

Andre Iguodala is cold blooded. With the Warriors leading the Raptors 106-104 and less than 10 seconds on the clock, Stephen Curry found himself trapped, as the Raptors looked to pressure him into a mistake with a three-plus second difference between the shot clock and game clock. As Curry was swarmed, Iguodala found the seas parted, with the most wide-open look he’s likely seen in a very long time.

As the clock ticked down, Iguodala set his feet, took the shot, and silenced the entire Toronto crowd at Scotiabank Arena. The shot put the Warriors up 109-104 with 5.9 seconds left in the game, securing a win which shifted the Finals in the Warriors’ favor. The Raptors got the ball in and Danny Green got a shot up which missed and caromed to Iguodala, who left the court with a muted

After the game, Stephen Curry said, “It’s disrespectful to leave Andre Iguodala open like that.”
