Bryce Harper shushes Giants fans after monstrous homer

Bryce Harper has heard the smattering of boos that have rained down on him over the past two days at Oracle Park.

He let his bat and then his finger silence them.

The $330 million Phillies star — who was in discussions to make San Francisco his new home this offseason — unloaded on a Tyler Beede changeup in the fifth inning of Friday’s game at Oracle Park.

Beede left it over the middle of the plate and Harper tattooed it 420 feet to right-center. Yes, his swing would play in San Francisco. It was his 21st homer of the season and put the Phillies ahead, 5-3, at the time.

As if the swing wasn’t loud enough, Harper crossed home plate and put his finger to his mouth, silencing the crowd. It worked.
