Tevin Coleman carted off from NFC Championship with shoulder injury

One of the 49ers’ divisional-round heroes is an NFC Championship concern.

Tevin Coleman came up limp early in the second quarter at Levi’s Stadium on Sunday, Green Bay’s Adrian Amos shoeing him down after a 4-yard gain, and Coleman staying on the ground.

He appeared to be cradling his right arm, which absorbed a lot of pressure when he stuck his hand into the ground, trying to scramble for additional yards. The 49ers annouced he was questionable to return with a shoulder injury.

Coleman was grimacing on the field and then carted off for X-rays.

The 26-year-old, in his fifth year in the NFL and first in San Francisco, had run for 105 yards and a pair of touchdowns last week against Minnesota.

On the play after Coleman was carted off, Raheem Mostert rushed for a touchdown, as the 49ers had an early 17-0 lead.
