Here are Giants’ plans for their ‘Opening Day at Home’

On the day their season was supposed to start at Oracle Park, the Giants are guaranteeing themselves a win.

It won’t be Jeff Samardzija or Mauricio Dubon or Buster Posey being the hero, but Travis Ishikawa yet again.

As the Bay Area and the country stays away from one another, the Giants will have an “Opening Day at Home,” which will include the re-broadcast of the 2014 NLCS Game 5, which (spoiler alert) the Giants won in pretty spectacular fashion.

NBC Sports Bay Area and sfgiants.com will host the virtual festivities beginning at 1:35 p.m. Friday. The national anthem will be performed by Jake Peavy, Renel Brooks-Moon will announce the lineups and Mike Krukow will be sharing a message.

It won’t be Giants-Dodgers at home, but it will be baseball on your TV screens and computers.
