Once Joe Burrow is drafted first overall by the Cincinnati Bengals, he’s coming for Nick Bosa. At least that’s what Burrow’s statement above would sound like without context. Burrow was interviewed by Bleacher Report’s Taylor Rooks, who asked him who he’s most looking forward to talking trash to at the 3:08 mark in the video above.
Burrow’s answer: former Ohio State teammate Nick Bosa. Burrow spent three years with the Buckeyes and Bosa before transferring to LSU as a fourth-year junior. Burrow chose Bosa because, well, Bosa’s hilarious, and a little weird.
“Nick Bosa, I’ll talk some trash to Nick,” Burrow said. “Cuz his trash talk is super weird. Like he’ll say something like, ‘Oh you gotta throw the ball away on that one buddy,’ or something like that when he sacks you. It’s super weird.”
Nick Bosa said he was talking to Baker Mayfield all game. What was he saying?
“I don’t know. I was just screaming his name like, ‘Baaaaakerrrr. Baaaaakerrrrr. Come on, pick it up we want a challenge.’ Stuff like that.” pic.twitter.com/hhzhYNu2oC

The 49ers aren’t scheduled to play the Bengals this season (having played them last year), and likely won’t until 2023, when the AFC North division circles back to the 49ers’ schedule.
