Fox Sports betting expert Todd Fuhrman hopped on with Tolbert, Krueger & Brooks to break down the betting scene ahead of the NFL Draft. Fuhrman keyed on four prop bets he found especially interesting. All lines via Fox Bet.

Over/under offensive linemen drafted in first round: Over 6.5 (-182)

“It appears to be a pretty rich tackle draft as far as four guys that are going to go pretty early on. The over/under for offensive linemen right now is set at 6.5. I’ve seen that number kind of ping pong all over the place. You can pencil in Tristan Wirfs, Andrew Thomas, Mekhi Becton, Jedrick Wills, as four guys that are already done deals.

“Then it remains anybody’s guess if you’re going to see Josh Johnson from Houston go, a guy like Cesar Ruiz for Michigan, Austin Jackson from USC and a couple other guys. I would lean over. I think we’ll see more offensive lineman come off the board in Round 1.”

Over/under Justin Jefferson draft position: Under 21.5 (-225)

“His over/under opened at 21.5, I’ve seen some books trickle down to 19.5 range. I think 21 is a key number there because when you look at those receivers, there are clearly four that are a cut above. Jefferson being one, and the tandem of Jeudy and Ruggs from Alabama, and of course CeeDee Lamb.

“At 19.5 it’s a much different handicap because you don’t have the luxury of the Philadelphia Eagles working in your favor, who have widely been connected to one of the talented wideouts, as they look to try and create a vertical passing game there. Jefferson’s a guy that all it takes is one team to try and trade up and make that happen. I think he’s got great potential at the next level, but if you believe he’s the fourth receiver off the board, it doesn’t give you a whole lot of wiggle room, when you look at picks 16-19.”

Over/under Tua Tagovailoa: Under 5.5 (-167)

“I think it’s more of a smokescreen from the Dolphins, I can see a scenario where they would take Tua No. 5 knowing the ceiling that’s out there. And I’m sure in some capacity or another, whether the Dolphins want to admit it or not, they remember back and Nick Saban referenced it, they passed on Drew Brees amid health concerns with what they thought was a safer route with Dante Culpepper, and I’m sure they don’t want to let that happen again. So I think they’ll be willing to roll the dice on Tua.

First wide receiver drafted: Henry Ruggs (+333)

“Henry Ruggs is clearly the guy to keep tabs on. He opened up at 50 to 1 at some books to be the first receiver off the board, then all of the sudden look at his numbers at the combine. The 4.27 40, the 40-plus vertical jump, and the fact that Jerry Jeudy was open and honest and said ‘look, I’m not going to race this guy anytime soon in a 40 unless I’m getting a 20 or 30 yard head start, because I don’t want to get embarrassed.’

“I think he becomes a very intriguing game breaker that whatever team ends up with him — weather it’s the 49ers or the Broncos at pick No. 15 — will be thrilled to have that kind of explosive playmaker wearing their team colors.”
