A few days ago, there were videos emerging from a group of the 49ers’ four quarterbacks, many of the team’s wide receivers, and some tight ends catching passes in a group session at a high school in Nashville, Tennessee. The group featured at least the following players and at one point they huddled up:

Brandon Aiyuk, C.J. Beathard, Kendrick Bourne, Jalen Hurd, Jimmy Garoppolo, Jauan Jennings, Kyle Juszczyk, George Kittle, Nick Mullens, Dante Pettis, Shawn Poindexter, Broc Rutter, Deebo Samuel, Trent Taylor, Charlie Woerner.

According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, one of the players involved has tested positive for Covid-19. Per Tom Pelissero, each of the involved players has been tested and it appears they are remaining in Nashville, where some, like George Kittle and Trent Taylor, live in the offseason.

The 49ers responded to the news by stating they are prohibited by privacy laws from discussing the reported positive test:

“Federal and state privacy laws prohibit our organization from commenting on the personal health of our employees.”
