There will be baseball for you to watch before baseball officially returns.
The Giants and A’s have agreed to play two exhibition games leading up to their season-openers, a home-and-home split scheduled for July 20 and 21. The Giants will play at the Coliseum next Monday and return to Oracle Park for the following day.
Both games can be seen on NBC Sports Bay Area and heard on KNBR. July 20’s first pitch is scheduled for 6:40, the 21st’s for 6:45.
It will be an appetizer before the Dodgers main course, the Giants opening in Los Angeles on July 23.
Of course, everything comes with an asterisk this season — all of these games are scheduled, which can change when a sport season coincides with a pandemic.
