Laureano is slashing .262/.398/.462 while playing an excellent centerfield, including robbing a home run on Wednesday. Laureano charged the Astros bench after being provoked by Astros hitting coach Alex Cintron, who was suspended for 20 games for his role in the incident.
The A’s have won 8 of their last 10. The Giants next see the A’s on Sept. 18 in Oakland.
