Damion Lee ejected after fouling Keldon Johnson’s face

Yeahhh… can’t do that.

The Golden State Warriors broke out the ‘Oakland Forever’ jerseys on Wednesday night against the visiting San Antonio Spurs and they might never wear another kit. The dubs dominated the Spurs up and down the court, playing smothering defense to go with an efficient offense and a career night from James Wiseman.

One of the only blemishes on the night came in the fourth quarter when Damion Lee got a little too aggressive for his own good.

Johnson, a second-year vet for the Spurs out of Kentucky, found himself under the basket and thought he had a reverse lay-up after a nifty jump stop. Wrong. Damion Lee climbed the ladder and tried to block the shot from behind.

Lee completely missed the ball and completely tee’d off on Johnson’s face. The referees reviewed the play and deemed the contact flagrant and ejected Lee from the game.

Before he was ejected Lee had two points and five rebounds on 1-for-5 from the field.
