Kevin Durant is known for his relatively unfiltered behavior on social media, but a recent direct message exchange with Michael Rapaport went too far.

Rapaport exposed the exchange on Twitter that included threats, which were reciprocated by Rapaport, and homophobic language from Durant. You can view the exchange here. On Friday, Durant addressed the language he used with the media, and apologized.

“I’m sorry that people seen that language I used,” Durant said. “That’s not really what I want people to see and hear from me, but hopefully I can move past it and get back out there on the floor.”

Durant reportedly made the comments after a discussion with head coach Steve Nash.
