In a division as tight as the NL West, you need all the support you can get.

For the Diamondbacks that meant bringing in some newly anointed fans thanks to Madison Bumgarner, who invited Brandon Crawford’s two sons to Chase Field on Saturday night to root against the Dodgers.

Crawford’s wife Jalynne, thanked Bumgarner for the tickets in a post on Instagram, and explained that it was their son Braxton’s idea.

“Mommy the Diamondbacks are playing the Dodgers in Arizona, can I go cheer on the Dbacks!?” Braxton said according to Jalynne.

Jaylnne, explained in the Instagram post that she couldn’t go to the game as she had soccer mom duties with their two daughters, but luckily the family nanny was able to take Braxton and his younger brother Bryson, decked out in Diamondbacks T-ball shirts.

The boys picked a good night to cheer against the Giants’ rivals. The dominant Dodgers succumbed to the Diamondbacks 7-2, extending San Francisco’s lead to two games in the NL West.
