Draymond Green leaves game vs. Wolves with thigh injury

By

Draymond Green was knocked out of Wednesday’s contest vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves with a right thigh contusion sustained midway through the third quarter.

Green appeared to bang the thigh while going up for a contested layup, and began grimacing and limping directly after he landed. The good news is that despite being in pain, Green nailed both free throws before heading to the Warriors bench, and then directly to the locker room.

The Warriors announced during the fourth quarter that Green would not return to the game. It’s the first injury scare of the young season for Golden State, and the last thing the Warriors would need with Green playing so well, and Klay Thompson and James Wiseman already out of commission.
