Charles Omenihu voices displeasure regarding ‘critical’ missed call on Seattle TD

The 49ers were penalized a season-high 10 times on Sunday, but it’s one that was missed on Seattle that has a San Francisco defensive end unhappy.

Charles Omenihu took to Twitter postgame to voice his displeasure about what he perceives as a missed holding call on Seahawks offensive tackle Jake Curhan, one that took place on Russell Wilson’s seven-yard touchdown pass to Dee Eskridge to close the third quarter.

Omenihu called the missed call critical.

Omenihu wasn’t the only 49ers player to lament the refs’ performance on Sunday. Nick Bosa said that the refs had a rough day, but that he’s “kinda used to it.” Among the other controversial calls were a roughing the passer on Russell Wilson that eliminated a thrid-and-10 possibility, and a no-call on the 49ers third down throw in the end zone during the game’s closing seconds that looked like it could have been pass interference.
