The beef will not be squashed before Sunday.

49ers receiver Deebo Samuel and Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald have had a bit of a rivalry going, ever since Donald claimed two years ago that he didn’t know who Deebo was.

There haven’t been any comments from Donald about Samuel since that time, probably because Deebo’s 49ers are 5-0 in games where both players have seen the field.

Asked about the beef on Thursday, Samuel said he has no interest in speaking to Donald, who he has never talked to.

“No, I’m not pressed for a conversation,” Samuel said. When pressed as to why, Deebo elaborated.

“I don’t know the guy,” Samuel said. “Obviously, he don’t know who I am, which he should. I don’t know, I just don’t walk up to people and be like, ‘Hey, how you doing? I’m Deebo.’ I’m not that type of guy or whatever.

“He’s an opponent, so I don’t know why I would want to have a conversation with the guy. I just don’t. Not something I do.”

Sounds like Donald will have to be the one to break the ice. Something tells us that won’t happen on Sunday, especially if the 49ers win their sixth straight, and punch their ticket to the postseason at Los Angeles’s expense.
