After punching their ticket to the playoffs without newly-minted All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams, the 49ers will receive an enormous boost this weekend as he returns to the field.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan listed Williams without any injury status, as well as nickel corner K’Waun Williams, who missed last week’s game after a stint on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. He did not have an injury status this week and is expected to play Sunday following a full week of practice.

Below is the 49ers’ full injury report, with all four players listed as questionable:

  • Azeez Al-Shaair (knee)
  • Talanoa Hufanga (knee)
  • Mitch Wishnowsky (concussion)
  • Marcell Harris (Achilles)

Shanahan continues to indicate that Al-Shaair sustained a somewhat significant knee injury, as his tone over the past few weeks emphasized how surprised he was that he was even close to playing. But John Lynch said on KNBR that he expects Al-Shaair to play and Shanahan said Friday that, “I feel pretty good about him.”

For the first time since the first week of the season, Fred Warner, Dre Greenlaw and Al-Shaair should all be available for the 49ers.

As far as Wishnowsky, the 49ers signed backup punter Ryan Winslow to the practice squad this week, but Wishnowsky is expected to play. Shanahan said he’s progressed well but has to show no symptoms on Saturday.

Lastly he mentioned that Trenton Cannon — who suffered a brutal concussion against the Seattle Seahawks on the first play of the game in Week 13 and was placed on injured reserve — could return this week.

For Dallas, their linebacker corps will be a bit thinner, with Keanu Neal (chest, elbow) ruled out for Sunday. No other Cowboys players have game statuses.
