SAN FRANCISCO, CA – The San Francisco Giants announced today an exclusive partnership with WME Sports’ Property Solutions team, part of the Endeavor-owned WME agency, to sell its Principal Partner entitlement, which includes the new MLB team asset for 2023 – an on-uniform jersey patch.
In addition to the jersey patch, the powerhouse MLB team’s Principal Partner package offers a range of assets for global and domestic brands to leverage, including official association, signage, experiential and digital marketing opportunities.
“We couldn’t be more excited to partner with WME Sports on this new and important opportunity for our franchise,” said Jason Pearl, SVP & Chief Business Development Officer of the San Francisco Giants. “We look forward to working closely with WME’s exceptional leadership team along with their colleagues across the Endeavor network to help find a Principal Partner whose brand closely aligns with ours.”
The San Francisco Giants are one of the most storied and successful teams in Major League Baseball and were the second team in National League history to win three championships in five years (2010, 2012, 2014). To find the right fit in a Principal Partner, WME Sports’ Property Solutions team will utilize its decades of experience in selling premium sports assets, as well as deploying the support of the global Endeavor sales network. This will involve a collaborative, data-driven approach, with valuation and analytical support provided by Endeavor Analytics.
Joe Januszewski, SVP & Division Head of Property Solutions for WME Sports, said, “We are thrilled to be working with the San Francisco Giants to secure a Principal Partner for one of baseball’s most successful and esteemed clubs. We look forward to leveraging our international sports property sales expertise and the power of the global WME and Endeavor networks to find the perfect Principal Partner for the Giants.”
