Veteran wing Andre Iguodala won’t play in Game 2 of the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics.

Iguodala is listed as out with right knee inflammation. The 38-year-old played 12 minutes in game one, a signal that the Warriors wanted to dust him off to try to slow down talented wings Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

In the regular season, Iguodala played just 31 games as he dealt with knee, hip, back and neck ailments. The 2015 Finals MVP suited up for three games in the first round against Denver, then was inactive throughout the Memphis and Dallas series.

Then the Finals came around, and Iguodala returned. He went 3-for-4 with seven points and three rebounds in the series opener, but GSW got outscored by six when he was on the floor. The Celtics stole the game with an incredible shooting display in the fourth quarter, 120-108.

The rest of the Warriors are expected to be available. On the other side, center Robert Williams III is listed as questionable with left knee soreness. He’s dealt with a knee injury since the end of the regular season and missed seven playoff games.

Without Iguodala, rookies Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody could be asked to take on larger roles. They both played just one minute in Game 1.
