Watch: Thairo Estrada hits walk-off bomb to give Giants sweep over Pirates

What a way to cap off the weekend.

After seemingly blowing Sunday’s game, the Giants swept the Pirates thanks to a Thairo Estrada two-run, walk-off bomb in the bottom of the ninth inning, giving SF a 8-7 win, their sixth victory in eight games.

Previously the Giants had squandered an early 5-0 advantage and then fell behind again in the top half of the inning after tying things at six runs apiece.

Evan Longoria opened the bottom half with a single, before Mike Yastrzemski grounded into a fielder’s choice. Then Estrada stepped up and pumped a first-pitch 95 mph sinker 395 feet over the center-field wall.

San Francisco is now back at .500 (57-57). The Giants start a four-game set vs. the Diamondbacks on Monday.
