The Giants have avoided arbitration with two players and decided to not offer deals to 10 others.

Mike Yastrzemski and left-handed pitcher Scott Alexander both agreed to one-year deals, the club announced on Friday. They also elected to non-tender deals to the following 10 players who will hit free agency: RHP Sam Delaplane, LHP Jarlín García, RHP Mauricio Llovera, C Dom Núñez, RHP Drew Strotman, C Meibrys Viloria, IF Jason Vosler, IF Donnie Walton, IF Colton Welker and LHP Alex Young.

Yastrzemski’s projected arbitration figure was $5.77 million while Alexander’s figure was projected at $1.1 million. The Giants now have 37 players on their 40-man roster. John Brebbia, Jakob Junis, Austin Slater, J.D. Davis, Jharel Cotton, Zack Littell, Logan Webb, LaMonte Wade Jr., Tyler Rogers and Thairo Estrada are all still set to hit arbitration this winter.

Yastrzemski, 32, is coming off a disappointing season where he posted a career-low slash line of .214/.305/.392 while homering just 17 times in 558 at-bats.

Alexander, 33, looked good in his first year with the Giants, posting a 1.04 ERA in 17 appearances.

Here are the projected figures for the rest of the Giants’ arbitration-eligible players:
