The San Francisco 49ers are the NFL’s top-voted team for this season’s Pro Bowl. When you look at the roster, and the results of a now seven-game win streak that clinched the NFC West, it’s not hard to understand.

Pro Bowl voting for fans has concluded and the final tallies were released on Monday. Pro Bowl nods are split evenly between votes from fans, players and coaches, each counting as a third of the vote.

San Francisco stuffed the ballot box on that first part.

Six 49ers — Nick Bosa, Fred Warner, Christian McCaffrey, Kyle Juszczyk, Trent Williams and George Kittle — finished atop their positions in the NFC and five finished tops in the league. Kittle was out-voted only by Travis Kelce.

Bosa, who leads the NFL with 15.5 sacks on the year, was the top-voted defensive player in the league, at 239,151 votes.

Again, no team had more total Pro Bowl votes than the 49ers, and per Matt Maiocco, there were 12 49ers players who finished fourth or better across the league in voting:

It will be interesting to see what the results of coach and player votes are, and whether they could catapult the likes of Dre Greenlaw and/or Charvarius Ward into Pro Bowl consideration.

Keep in mind that for the first time, there will be no formal Pro Bowl game. A 7-on-7 flag football game will replace it, along with other events including skills challenges. Full Pro Bowl teams will be released on Wednesday.
