Trying to get your hands on a sweet, sweet Brock Purdy jersey for Christmas? Good luck.

Purdy’s jersey is one of the hottest on the market right now. It’s no surprise, either. Since taking over for Jimmy Garoppolo against the Miami Dolphins, Purdy has been on an impressive three-game run that culminated with an NFC West title on Thursday.

When you go to the NFL and 49ers’ official website to buy jerseys, Purdy’s jersey is sold out in a number of sizes, at the listed $129.99.

As of Tuesday, Purdy’s red men’s jersey was unavailable to order via the 49ers’ online store in small, medium, large and extra-large (it was available in sizes 2XL-5XL) and the white jersey was sold out in small, medium and large.

Even if you wanted to go the customizable route for the staple red or white jerseys — at $199.99 each — they’re sold out in the same sizes.

What’s bizarre is that the most eye-catching jerseys, the red throwbacks — also $199.99 — are available in all sizes.

Per the San Francisco Chronicle’s Matt Kawahara, San Francisco is struggling to keep up with demand.

“Demand’s sky-high,” said Umesh Johari, the 49ers’ vice president of business strategy and analytics, via Kawahara, who added: “I would say it’s comparable to when we drafted Trey Lance.”

Per Johari, the team expects to have “more than enough” at its team store for this Saturday’s game.
