The Warriors aren’t giving themselves much of a chance to immediately bounce back from their Thursday night overtime loss in Boston.

Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins are each sitting against the Cavaliers Friday. The second night of a back to back will feature a lot of Jordan Poole.

Friday’s contest is the final game of a five-game road trip. Golden State has split the trip thus far, with wins in San Antonio and Washington.

Thompson hasn’t played in both legs of a back-to-back all season as the team monitors his work load. The shooting guard has had a scorching-hot January, averaging 29.8 points in six games.

Wiggins recently returned from a groin injury that sidelined him for the longest stretch of his career. He’ll get the night off after his best performance back from the injury report.

Although four of Golden State’s five starters won’t be active, Jonathan Kuminga and JaMychal Green are each listed as probable. Both have been sidelined for significant time — Kuminga with a sprained foot and Green with a lower leg infection.

Kevon Looney, the Warriors’ stalwart center, will continue his games played streak, which remains the second longest active iron man run in the NBA. In an earlier back-to-back situation this year, Looney logged just five minutes to keep his streak alive.

The Warriors are currently 22-23 and ninth in the Western Conference. They’re 17-5 in the Chase Center but 5-18 on the road.
