Brandon Aiyuk says Eagles defense will be exposed by Chiefs passing game in Super Bowl

The 49ers will be watching the Super Bowl from their couches this Sunday.

Brandon Aiyuk is well aware of that. The third-year receiver joined The SFNiners’ Brad Graham for a Twitter Live on Sunday and pointed to his couch before throwing some verbal jabs at the Eagles.

He said he’s got “no room to talk,” then proceeded to do so, explaining why the Kansas City Chiefs will be a problem for the Philadelphia Eagles.

“They got their hands full. I don’t know fully about that defense,” Aiyuk said. “They talk about them being a good defense — I’m not sure. I think this Kansas City pass game will expose what we thought we were going to be able to expose before some unfortunate circumstances happened. We’ll see. Like I said, you got to be able to get lucky to win a Super Bowl and they got extremely lucky.”

Those are some strong words after a game in which the 49ers had both of their quarterbacks injured and pressured consistently by Haason Reddick and an Eagles defensive front which had the third-most sacks in league history, with 70.
