SAN FRANCISCO – Golden State Warriors guard Ryan Rollins will undergo surgery to repair a Jones fracture of his 5th metatarsal in his right foot, the team announced today.

The procedure is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, February 8. An update on Rollins’ status will be provided following the procedure, but he is expected to miss the remainder of the 2022-23 season.

Rollins, 20, has appeared in 12 games as a rookie with Golden State, averaging 1.9 points and 1.0 rebounds in 5.2 minutes per game. He has appeared in 19 games with Golden State’s G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, tallying averages of 19.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 25.6 minutes.

The Warriors originally acquired the draft rights to Rollins, who was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the 44th overall pick in the second round of the 2022 NBA Draft, in a draft night trade on June 23, 2022.
