Draymond Green might have won the war of words on Wednesday, but Dillon Brooks — his team at least — won the war on the court on Thursday.

The Grizzlies dispatched of the struggling Warriors with relative ease, 131-110, on Thursday evening, one day after Green eviscerated Brooks on his podcast.

As is customary, Brooks responded to Green’s comments in his postgame on-court interview.

“That’s what I do, I talk,” Brooks said when asked if he let Green hear it on the court. “I told him keep that mic open. Keep doing his podcast, keep blogging, keep doing his thing off the court. You know it’s cute, it’s fun for him.”

Brooks had another parting shot when the reporter complimented his performance.

“Thank you. Appreciate it. Appreciate it,” Brooks added. “You should give the mic to Draymond, then will talk about me… Make him keep talking about me so I can play better.”

Though he went just 1-for-7 from 3-point range, Brooks had a nice all-around game scoring 14 points and finishing at plus-22, second highest on the Grizzlies.
