Kendrick Perkins is certainly one of the pundits in NBA history. You have to give the man at least some credit in that he has an outstanding nonsense-per-take ratio that is, by any assessment, absolutely elite.
On Tuesday, Perkins delivered an absolute banger on SportsCenter when discussing the Warriors’ Draymond Green and Jonathan Kuminga. This came two nights before the NBA Draft, a subject which Perkins is supposed to provide insight for:
From reports, I’m hearing that Jonathan Kuminga is now 7’2.” The kid has gotten better every single season.
Those reports are nonexistent.
He fell for the joke below, where a Twitter user offered a fake report that suggested Kuminga had grown to seven feet tall. He is listed at 6 feet, 7 inches.
Andre Iguodala tagged on, offering the 7-foot, 2-inch figure that Perkins nonsensically claimed as a report.
