Marshawn Lynch takes on 16-year old in backflip challenge

If you’ve seen any of the footage from Marshawn Lynch’s reality show on Facebook called “No Script,” the above video from the latest episode should be as unsurprising as it is entertaining. This bonus clip captures the brief, yet hilarious encounter between Marshawn and an incredible 16-year old named Nick Fry from New York who can apparently, as Marshawn put it “Do the Sonic Boom Kick off Streetfighter.”

Also noteworthy is the running back’s encounter with one of the members of his production team. When “Neil” suggests Marshawn doesn’t have to try the backflip if he doesn’t want to (if we had to guess, this guy was thinking of the call he’d get from Jack Del Rio should the coach’s starting tailback blow out his knee on a reality T.V. show) Marshawn reminds him “I’m yo daddy.”

In slightly less comical news, Lynch made different headlines, Monday, when President Trump called out the Raiders star for kneeling during America’s national anthem, played before the team’s loss to the Patriots in Mexico, Sunday. Particularly upsetting to the president was Lynch’s decision to stand during the playing of the Mexican national anthem, a gesture that seemed to make the entire situation worse according to the president’s Tweet from Monday morning. A Tweet which also suggested Lynch should be suspended for the remainder of the season for his behavior.

Despite their recent struggles, Lynch’s Raiders (4-6) are still only two games back of the slipping Kansas City Chiefs (6-4) for the top spot in the AFC West, and one game ahead of the even more troubled Broncos who have lost their last six games and head to Oakland this Sunday.
