OAKLAND – It’s been a minute since we’ve seen one of these from Stephen Curry, but boy did it look familiar.
With 3.9 seconds left on the clock at the end of the first quarter, Draymond Green fired the ball into Curry. The two-time MVP sprinted down the left side of the court, cut right, saw some daylight, and pulled the trigger on a deep 3-pointer a few paces in from half court.
It had been a quiet game up until that point for Curry. He had only hit one shot and a pair of free throws previous to the long-distance bomb. Curry’s buzzer beater put the Warriors up 11 points at the end of the quarter against the visiting Los Angeles Clippers, a team Golden State lost to a little over a month ago.
Take a good look, Warriors fans. You won’t see a player like Steph Curry for long.
