In a television segment that aired on Thursday, Fergie’s ex-husband, Josh Duhamel, said Draymond Green “acted like kind of a prick” when Green laughed on camera during Fergie’s national anthem performance at the All-Star Game last season.
After the Warriors thrilling win over the Knicks on Friday, new forward Alfonzo McKinnie posted a hilarious video to his Instagram of the team dancing to a remix of Fergie’s now infamous performance. The video is incredible on it’s own, but so is DeMarcus Cousins’ comment of “Be a real man”, a reference to Duhamel saying that a “real man” would have called Fergie and apologized. Draymond’s post of the video on his Instagram also included the hashtag “#fergieremixchallenge” and “#BeARealMan”.
To his credit, Duhamel was a good sport when he responded on Twitter late Friday evening
“Note to self: Think twice before you call out the champs.” he wrote above a gif of Klay Thompson. “Well played @warriors #NBATwitterisnojoke #sorryferg”
