OAKLAND – Things just went from bad to worse at Oracle Arena for Warriors fans.
Early in the fourth quarter DeMarcus Cousins was guarding Chris Paul as the Rockets point guard drove past the right elbow. As Paul dribbled around a standing Draymond Green, Cousins went behind his teammate.
Green didn’t see or feel Cousins behind him, and took a step back to his left and landed on Cousins’ foot. He immediately jumped up and down in pain and fell to the floor.
As soon as the play stopped, Green talked with trainers. He limped heavily off the floor into the locker room, but did so under his own power.
