Have a day Tyler Austin.
Despite near freezing temperatures in Colorado, the Giants first baseman was red hot on Thursday, launching the first two home runs of his brief career with the Orange & Black. The second came in the top of the sixth inning, a three-run shot that tied the game at eight runs apiece. The first was a two run blast in the third inning.

Austin, who was acquired via trade on April 8, is having a strong start to his Giants career, posting a slash line of .323/.417/.419 in 31 at-bats heading into Thursday’s game.
Unfortunately, Mark Melancon promptly gave the Rockies back the lead in the sixth inning.
