The festivities to send off Bruce Bochy in style could not wait for the Giants to get back to San Francisco.
Sunday marked the final road game of their season, and thus the final flight home for the retiring manager.

The whole crew wore “Thank you Boch” shirts, featuring an image of Bochy doffing his cap. To make things a bit meta, several Giants tipped their cap in the group shot, in which a suited-up Bochy was the only one not wearing orange.
The Giants weren’t done. Before the takeoff, Bochy was given a water cannon salute. This all sets the stage nicely for what’s going to be a wild final week of Bochy.
