C.J. McCollum is not happy with the Warriors, or any other team comprised of star players who teamed up to form a super-team. During his world tour, he recently appeared on China television network CCTV and talked about his disdain for super-teams.
“I would never do anything of that nature,” McCollum said. “I think that’s disgusting.”
Last month, McCollum planted the seed when he tweeted about Kevin Durant joining the Warriors. Durant responded and cited his appearance on McCollum’s podcast earlier that month.
So,I would get into a gang fight, lose, plot on my brother for 2 months in our home and then go get the gang we lost to and beat him up? U think that low of me CJ? I just did your fuckin podcast. Snakes in the grass boy I tell ya ?

Later that week, Durant had a back-and-forth with a reporter asking about his Twitter spat with McCollum.

Durant, of course, led the Warriors to their second straight NBA Championship, while winning his second consecutive NBA Finals MVP Award, back in early June. In the first round, the No. 6-seeded New Orleans Pelicans swept McCollum’s No. 3-seeded Portland Trail Blazers.
McCollum isn’t the only NBA player with strong opinions of super-teams. Seemingly the entire NBA world reacted to the Warriors signing DeMarcus Cousins in early July.
The Warriors and Blazers will play each other four times in the 2018-19 regular season.
